RUNNING

Building endurance, resilience, and confidence one mile at a time.

Running is more than a way to improve your cardiovascular fitness. It’s an opportunity to build endurance, learn how your body responds to stress, and develop confidence in what you’re capable of.

As a physical therapist and lifelong learner, I’ve become increasingly interested in how running, strength training, recovery, and pain science intersect.

I’ve trained for multiple marathons and continue to use running as a way to challenge myself physically and mentally. I’m currently training for the Cocoa Marathon (Nov 2026), and I’ll use this space to share some of what I’m learning along the way.

Training has given me another perspective on many of the concepts I discuss as a physical therapist: load management, recovery, strength, pain, consistency, and adapting to setbacks.
